GroupMe

In order to foster clear communication and build up Christian community among our youth, St. Joseph Parish runs a GroupMe for youth in 8th grade through high school. This GroupMe currently has 15+ VIRTUS trained adults and/or parents included, and all messages are public to the entire group. This follows the Safe Environment policy of the diocese. If you would like your child to join the GroupMe, it is essential for us to have your permission.

Social Media

It can often be helpful for a new group to grow if others are able to see what’s happening. For us, this is especially impactful when we are able to post about our Youth Ministry events. Photos and videos of activities such as games, engaging with a guest speaker, or worshipping at adoration, may encourage others to join. Does St. Joseph Parish have your permission to utilize photos or videos (which may be posted on the ebsite/social media of St. Joseph Parish) of your child?
